And often use ourself.

  Box Shell - This product is for new construction or major remodels. Installed after the rough-in electrical is finished. You can use any type of fibrous insulation in the wall and not worry about air leakage. This is because after the walls are finished, you inject foam into the Box Shell and it seals completely around the electrical box.

  AirCycler - This product cycles the air handler's fan and is used with a motorized damper to supply fresh air to the house. It takes into account how long the air handler has run to ensure you are getting enough ventilation (fresh) air per hour. The motorized damper can also be activated by your range hood (by adding a sensor) to prevent it from depressurizing the house. We like this product because, honestly, it is the only one that does this job.

  Chimney Balloon - This product is used to block the chimney when it is not in use. Often times the damper is too leaking and air is constantly escaping up the chimney. We like it because of its' simplicity and low cost, plus even if you forget to remove it, it will simply deflate and unblock the chimney.

  Mars Azure Digi Motor - This product is an ECM motor for your furnace/air handler. ECM motors convert the AC power to DC power and are much more efficient than the standard PSC motor that comes with most furnaces/air handlers. If you are planning on or already do run your fan, without a call for heating or cooling, this motor will save you money. It can be set to run at a slow speed, so you barely notice that the fan is running.

  iQAir portable air purifier - This product is for use in a single room. Great product for those with special health concerns related to breathing.

  iQAir Perfect 16 - This product is for whole house air purification. It has a huge filter surface area, so it does not affect the air handler static pressure by much. However, a bit expensive and must be professionally installed. The air handler's fan must also run, so it is best to replace the air handlers motor with an ECM motor, assuming it is not one. It can also be used with the Aircycler.

  Speck IAQ - This product detects fine particulate matter (PM_2.5) in your indoor environment and informs you about changes and trends in particle concentration. Use Speck to test whether your vacuum exudes particles, whether your kitchen range hood really exhausts, and how your daily routine affects your indoor air quality. We like this meter because it is always reporting, you just have to look at it to see how what your doing affect your air (you'll do that a hundred a times day). Unlike others that require you to get your smart phone, open the app, and look at the numbers (easily forgotten actions = out of sight out of mind).

  FanTech DM3000 - This product provides a solution for better indoor air quality with the Whole House HEPA filtration unit. This small, compact unit is installed (piggybacked) on the existing return air ductwork of your furnace/air handler. The unit does not affect the air handler's static pressure because it has its own fan to move the air through the unit. However, the airhandler must run to draw the air through the return air duct so the unit can clean it. We like it because of the low cost and is an easy DIY project. Best used with the Aircycler to run the fan.

  FilterLOCK - This product seals the air filter slot and prevents contaminates from entering duct system (especially if the furnace/air handler is located in the garage or attic). It consist of two magnetic strips (reusable for years) that seal the air filter slot up to 25 inches long.

  Honeywell Media Air Filter - This product is an air filter that has a low static pressure drop and thus help your equipment last longer, plus the filter can last a long time. The 1 inch pleated filter are way TOO restrictive for most air handlers/furnaces and they shorten the equipment's life by making it work too hard. This filter has a housing that goes between the air handler and return air duct, thus professional installation is recommended.

  Tamarack Technologies Return Air Pathway - This product allows the movement of air from one room to the next, equalizing pressure in the home. thus reducing some of the air leakage into and out of the house. Although not as good as dedicated returns from each room, it is a great retrofit option at a much lower price then adding dedicated returns to each room. Additionally, it reduces noise and light transmission through the grill, this is accomplished with an insert. There are two styles, through the wall or bottom of door.
